Week 07: Going Live, Creative Play & Quiet Maintenance

    3 min read

Welcome to Week 07 of the oneweek.dev Weekly Summary — a week shaped by contrast.

If last week was about continuity, this one was about range.

Launching something long in the making.
    Letting play lead the way.
    Pausing when energy dipped.
And tending to the invisible work that keeps everything steady.

Some days were joyful and hands-on, others quiet and administrative, all part of the same creative ecosystem.

    This week’s logs

Dec 07 — Doing the full kit myself and feeling like a kid again

A hands-on day: assembling the entire Space Explorer Kit, testing materials, and preparing for the final listing.

Dec 09 — A long day & a small Christmas gift to myself

Dec 10 — A tired pause and thoughts about what’s next
A quiet rest day after a long workday, reflecting on energy, scale, and what kind of work truly feels alive.

Dec 11 — Pure creative play: building an animated passport view
    #stampie
An unstructured day of exploration — animated passports, playful tools, and rediscovering the joy of building just because it feels good.

Dec 12 — Building the craft station
    #kitofhappiness
An unexpected delivery, an evening of assembling, and the first sparks of a long-term creative setup for hands-on making.

Dec 13 — Catching up, patching vulnerabilities, and waiting on partners
    #goberliner
Clearing the backlog of offline notes, running security updates across apps, and navigating the slow rhythm of an upcoming partnership.

    A week of contrast

This week carried both momentum and maintenance.

Seeing the Space Explorer Kit finally live felt deeply satisfying: a moment of release after weeks of quiet work. At the same time, playful detours like the animated passport experiment reminded me how important it is to build without pressure sometimes.

And in between: rest days, patching vulnerabilities, waiting on partners, assembling furniture, the unglamorous but essential work that supports everything else.

Another week of showing up in different ways.
Another reminder that progress doesn’t always look the same.

See you next Sunday for Week 08.
