After a week-long break from logging, reflecting on the changes: closed last month slightly in minus due to yearly payment switches, created Kit of Happiness Next.js app waiting for LemonSqueezy approval, and reshaped priorities to focus on Temettu and Mockup Generator which have existing audience and trust. Also building and seeding new ideas like Listpie, Stampie, and Kit of Happiness. After getting sick and losing momentum, realized the daily logs already provided the needed momentum with 70+ entries, and now ready to focus on actual work.
After 2 years of partial work, Mockup Generator is officially out of Beta. Received great feedback and good revenue, decided to focus on it properly. Added 48-hour badge for lifetime deal, sent newsletter to 1000 subscribers, and planning to increase price to $99 while adding more mockups and functionality.
After the Shopify decision, feeling relieved and taking a break from the rush to focus on creating beautiful lists in Listpie. Added 14 lists so far, now working on making them all visualized before adding new ones. Future plan: build an API for a mobile app as a salute to first app from 10 years ago.
Deciding to stop the initial ad experiment with Kit of Happiness after gaining valuable insights. Interest is there, but losing money before building trust. Making key decisions: moving away from Shopify to build custom Next.js solution, and planning to publish Google AI Studio listing soon with Gumroad redirect, later building full Stripe sales flow.
Taking it easy after New Year celebration, deciding to park Kit of Happiness as conversions need lifestyle content not small tweaks, then doing creative work on Listpie creating a list about series with best finales and expanding list items with images.
Adding a free sample option to reduce friction of buying for people interested but not trusting the brand yet, continuing the trust-building strategy.
After analyzing Meta ad results showing low conversion due to lack of social proof, tweaking the landing page and product listings to add more story and context, helping visitors understand the purpose and care behind each kit to build trust.
After analyzing the first results from Meta ads, it is cost-efficient to reach interested parties with almost 10 cent for a landing visit, but conversion is the problem. As a new brand without social proof yet, building trust will be the next step.
First listing ready with updated terms, testing purchase flow, learning from Temettu Pro launch mistake, and setting up a small 10 euro/day Meta ad test to understand conversion demand.
Doctor appointment took nearly the whole day, evening spent watching How to Get Away with Murder and playing around with lists, preparing for first full focus day on projects tomorrow.
